Glass Ceiling

Photographer, Jill Greenberg is having her fifth solo show at the ClampArt Gallery in NY starting on June 16th. The Glass Ceiling Exhibition "revisits her interest in feminist art." The project features a series of pictures of  female dancers and athletes in bathing suits and heels under water and was inspired by an actual commissioned job that she did back in 2008 for the US Olympic Synchronized Swim Team. On her website she describes the shoot:
They wear high heels to be ‘sexy’ in this performance, yet this is absurd, it hinders their movement and amplifies their lack of control. They adjust their swimsuits, shoes; gasp for air, and are pushed by the relentless force of the water, a metaphor for their world.

Diet Coke x Karl Lagerfeld???

Diet Coke never looked so good...Karl Lagerfeld has been working with Diet Coke to come up with a new package design and this is the result...

Lagerfeld strategically chose Coco Rocha, Jeneil Williams, and Heidi Mount to be featured in the print ads. He never ceases to amaze me...

GooGoo for GaGa

Just when I thought that I couldn't possibly love this crazy bitch anymore then I already do, she goes and does some sexy shit like this...

“I think he planned the whole thing: Right after he died, I wrote ‘Born This Way.’ I think he’s up in heaven with fashion strings in his hands, marionetting away, planning this whole thing. When I heard [it would be released on the first anniversary of McQueen's death], I knew he planned the whole damn thing. I didn’t even write the f—ing song. He did!”

Sex Culture

...it's a movement. And Devora Ran, a Spanish Mag that's committed to surveying the "in's" and "out's" of the current sexual revolution that is taking place, just might be my new favorite magazine. The magazines' team of photographers, journalists, illustrators, and artists have beautifully fused the ever-so, taboo concept of sex with art. Take a look at how the editors are giving a middle finger and a big "Fuck You" to mainstream media.

Naughty Nuns

So, I was raised Catholic and my parents have tried to keep me in Private Schools all my life in hopes that I would turn out "right," whatever the fuck that is...For the most part I turned out pretty decent and have somewhat denounced the majority of the things that I've seen and learned of the Catholic religion...but after looking at the pics below I realized how much I was missing...

Maybe mom and dad were right...I DEFINITELY should've become a nun!
